March 12 - Modesto Play Day
10:00AM - 2PM Join us at John Muir Park in Modesto for our spring is coming play day. It's time to blow the dust of the discs and get ready for the 2011 season. Hosted by Robbie & Carol Shyken.
April 10 - San Ramon Play Day
10:30AM -2PM Come join us at our play day at Memorial Park in San Ramon. You'll find us on the upper field to the right of the dog park, just up the stairs from the parking lot. Hosted by Patrick & Sabrina Major
June 18 - San Ramon Play Day & BBQ
10:30AM -2PM Come join us at our play
day at Memorial
Park in San Ramon. We are firing up the BBQ and also
plan to have a disc obstacle challenge set up. Always
fun! We'll be on the upper field to the right of the dog
park, just up the stairs from the
parking lot.

August 14 - Fremont Play Day
10:00AM - 2PM Join us for a fun day of disc play and doggie swimming at Rancho Arroyo Park in Fremont. The dogs always give this play day four paws up. Hosted by Mark Youngberg.
Oct TBA - San Francisco Play Day
11:00AM - 3PM Join us at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. We'll meet in the big parking lot across the Great Highway from the Beach Chalet Brewery between stairwell 16 & 17 and then head onto the beach for a fun afternoon of disc play. Hosted by Cindy & Lou Del Corto
**Competitions**
April 16 - UC Davis Picnic Day
Time TBA @ Hutchison Field, UC Davis. Pre-registration required, limited to first 50 competitors. Online registration forms and event information available on the UC Davis Vetmed Picnic Day Web site. Pre-registration is required for this event and closes April 1.
April 30 - Ye Olde Pups and Pubs Classic - Dixon
Join DiscDoGG for our 7th Annual "Ye Olde Pups and Pubs Classic" to be held at Northwest Park on Rotteveel Field in Dixon. All levels always welcome! UFO local event format.
Entry Fees: $10 Open Division, $7.00 Intermediate/Recreational and $5.00 Novice. Visit the UFO website for complete competition rules & event format. Registration begins at 9AM and the tournament starts at 10AM. Hosted by Steve & Jill Teer.
May 21 - DiscDoGG Competition - Modesto
Join us at John Muir Park in Modesto for our 4th Annual Mo-Town Tourny. All levels always welcome! Registration starts at 9:30AM, tournament begins at 10AM.

June 26 - DiscDoGG Competition - Fremont
Nordvik Park, Commerce & Ardenwood, Registration starts at 9:30AM, tournament begins at 10AM. Grab your dog and head to the park for our 5th Annual Fremont Competition. Get ready for Long Distance action and the ever popular jerky throw down. All levels always welcome.

July 16 - "Hot Dogs in July" Competition - Lodi
Beckman Park, 1462 W. Century Blvd. Come on out to Lodi for our Hot Dogs in July competition. We will also have a "Bobbing for Hot Dogs" contest for the doggies. Let's see who can get them all out in the fastest time! Be sure to bring shade for you and your pups.

August 27 - "Disc Dogs By The Bay" Competition - Benicia
This event takes place in conjunction with Benicia's Great Dog Day by the Bay Festival. Benicia was voted as one of the top 10 dog friendliest cities in the United States by Dog Fancy magazine and this festival is to celebrate that!
Three divisions are offered, Novice, Pro &
Open.
Registration begins at 9:30AM and the
tournament at 10:30AM.

September 11 - DiscDoGG Competition - San Ramon -

Oct 01-02 *11th* Annual Crusty Classic / Golden State Disc Dog Championship, Lancaster, CA
Hosted by DiscDoGG and D2ISC. Join us for two days of hot disc dogging action at Lancaster City Park, Lancaster,CA. Novice, Intermediate and Advanced divisions. Check out the Crusty Classic event page for complete details & lodging information for the weekend. This is one event you don't want to miss!

April 16 - UC Davis Picnic Day
DiscDoGG members will perform a "Half Time" freestyle demo during the Frisbee dog contest.
May 15 - 10th Annual Spring Dog Festival - Soquel High School Field

May 15 - Galt Strawberry Festival - Galt
Freestyle shows at 11:30AM & 1:30PM by DiscDoGG members.
June 4 - The Doggy Dash - Sacramento
The Doggy Dash is one of Sacramento SPCA's most anticipated events held in William Land Park. This fun run/walk helps raise money for the shelter animals. There will be a Vendors' Row, a Frisbee contest hosted by DiscDoGG and a Pup Show. Also freestyle demonstrations and entertainment from agility groups. Open to the public.
July 9 - Newark Relay for Life - Newark
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life unites communities across the country each year to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.
DiscDoGG teams will perform freestyle demos at the Newark Relay for Life event held at Newark Jr High School. Donate a few dollars to our own Mike Bucci who is fundraising for this awesome cause.
July 17 - NARF "Walk-A-Thon" Los Gatos Creek Park - Campbell
Support Nike Animal Rescue Foundation animal rescue programs such as Foster Care, Emergency Veterinary Assistance, Spay & Neuter Assistance, and Senior Pets for Seniors. 97% of all funds are spent directly on the animals.
Pet games and trick competition, BBQ, adoptable pets, vendors and the not to be missed raffle.

July 31 - Fremont Elks Lodge Bark - Fremont
Fundraising event benefiting Pet Meals on Wheels, Pets of Homeless, Alameda County Police K9 units and California Rescue Dogs. Enjoy a BBQ, demonstrations, dog shows, drawings, silent auctions, and more! Hosted by the Fremont Elks Lodge with freestyle demos by DiscDoGG.
August 13 - 2nd Annual Sacramento Banana Festival - Sacramento
Join us at William Land Park for a weekend full of music, food, art, dance, films, and family fun. Taste all kinds of banana goodies. Artwork, costumes, trinkets, live performances and much more. Proceeds from the 2011 festival support Sacramento's Sojourner Truth Multicultural Art Museum. Freestyle demos by DiscDoGG.
August 20 - 17th Annual Mutt Strutt - San Mateo
Join us on Saturday, August 20 for PHS/SPCA's 17th annual Mutt Strutt! The Mutt Strutt helps raise money and awareness for the animals at PHS/SPCA. Vendor booths, dog demonstrations, entertainment, prizes and more! Freestyle demos by DiscDoGG.
