The Purina IDC Western Regional was held April 23-24 in San Diego.On Friday, Donna Malmlov vied for a chance at an advancement to Saturday's main event. Steve & Foster were invitees to Saturday's big show. It was a very tough competition with our SoCal friends pulling in the 1st & 2nd place spots but Steve & Foster finished very well in 3rd place. |

The SW Regionals were held in San Bernadino on May 14th. Donna & Steve Malmlov journeyed south for the competition. Since Steve volunteered earlier to help judge the event, Donna had the chance to compete with all three pups! The competition was tough as always. In the expert open division, Donna and Ashley took 4th place and earned an invite to the 2005 World Finals. In expert sport division, Donna placed 3rd with Foster and earned an invite to the World Finals in that division as well! |

Shasta Pups Air Zone "SPAZ" kicked off the UFO season in Northern California hosting their first UFO minor on May 21st at Enterprise Park in Redding. Everyone had a great time and the many spectators really enjoyed watching the dogs. In the open division, Steve Malmlov & Foster placed 1st, Nate & Shanti took 2nd with Steve Teer & Guinness placing 3rd. There were a couple of DiscDoGG firsts this day with Trudy entering Liberty in open and Steve with Irish in toss and catch. |

DiscDoGG held their first UFO local on June 25th in Dixon. The wind challenged the competitors some but everyone had a great time nonetheless. In open, Steve & Foster finished 1st, Steve & Guinness took 2nd and Nate & Shanti placed 3rd. In the intermediate division, Carl & Maizie took 1st, Derek & Kiowa took 2nd and Steve & Sandy took 3rd. In the novice division Dave & Frodo took 1st, Craig & Mazy took 2nd and Mark & Lucky took 3rd. |

Donna & Steve Malmlov added a few more miles to the car and made the trek to SoCal to compete in the Southern California Frisbee® Dog Challenge - Wags for Wishes weekend. On Saturdays USDDN qualifier super open division, Steve Malmlov & Foster placed 2nd, Donna & Sydney 3rd, and Donna & Ashley placed 6th. Both Steve and Donna qualified for the USDDN semi finals to be held in Louisville, KY this November! |

On August 27, DiscDoGG hosted our Skyhoundz Local Championship at Westborough Park in So San Francisco. The fog stayed away and we all enjoyed the nice sunny day. Donna & Steve Malmlov swept the open division taking the top three spots. In the sport division Mark & Lucky showed everyone how it's done with a whopping 31 pts to take 1st place. Steve & Irish placed 2nd and Ann & Penny took 3rd. |

Saturdays UFO brought out some fierce competition. Steve &Guinness finished 22nd and Nate & Shanti finished 23rd in the open division while Lou & Tank placed 17th in intermediate. Sunday's Quad was tough with no one from DiscDoGG making it to a final round. Nate & Shanti placed 6th, Steve & Guinness placed 9th, Derek & Kiowa 13th and Lou & Tank 16th. |
