Fennel is one of the "Spice Puppies" from the SF/SPCA. His brothers were Paprika,Pepper and Licorice. When Fennel was 2 years old I watched a video in youTube from PositiveVybe showing how Ron trains his disc dogs. Then I learned about Zak George. Disc Dog seemed like a wonderful alternative to agility that can be practised anywhere, anytime. In Freestyle, Fennel and I are engaged in common play like no other time. We used to do agility but ball fetch and disc are now our main play activity. In winter we also do skijoring.
