Our latest tournament took place on July 29th, in Campbell, CA and the turnout for the event was wonderful. A few things came out of this event… first, Steve Teer said:
I just wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone who competed, judged and helped out yesterday at our 3rd tournament of the year! It was a great turnout and think everyone had a good time. Thanks so much for your support of the club!
Exciting Announcement! Starting next season, we will add the Intermediate Division to all of our tournaments! This will be a 2 round toss and fetch division between Novice and Pro. Right now, once you will win the Novice div and place again (1,2 or 3), you are moved up to Pro and must compete in that div with any dog. Next year, Novice will move up to Intermediate and then move up to Pro when they have won and placed a 2nd time in Int. Any team that has been moved up to Pro from Novice will be able to slide back into Intermediate as long as you have not won the Pro Division. I know many of you have wanted this change for a while, but I was waiting for our entry numbers to increase and they have! We would start this sooner, but need to work out all the logistics before starting it. If you have any questions or thoughts, I would sure appreciate all feedback, so it can be well thought out before implementing it.
With that said, here’s the scores from last weekend…
