DDoGG T5: Disc Dogs Against Cancer Tournament Recap

Disc Dog novice winner

Last weekend Disc Dogs of the Golden Gate disc dog club held their fifth tournament out in Benicia, CA, on the athletic field of Benicia Middle School, in conjunction with the Bark For Life event, bringing
awareness and helping raise funds for the fight against cancer.

It’s more than likely we’ve all been impacted by cancer in one way or another in our lives. So it was with great pride that the club represented and held a tournament in conjunction with the American Cancer Society’s Bark for Life event, a part of Benicia’s Relay for Life event.

We not only entertained people with our competition, but the club donated funds from our entry fees to the cause, in the amount of $275.
